I started my journey with Christian Coaches Network (now CCNI) in early 2011. Fresh out of my first coach training and looking for more, I found my tribe here. Back then, we had a prayer team that met online the first Thursday of the month and it was great to meet a few coaches and pray together. After attending more coach training and needing CEU’s for renewing certifications and to soothe my nagging desire to learn, I attended several webinars.
The best step I took was volunteering to help with tech support for the 2014 eSummit. It was there I got to know Marcie Thomas and Gary Wood at a deep personal level. To me, they were Wonder Woman and Super Coach and it was super cool to rub shoulders and learn beside them.
I have continued to work alongside leaders that God has uniquely gifted and anointed for serving our tribe. In 2016, I was asked to join the CCNI board as president-elect, as an appointed position. I’ve been deeply involved behind the scenes ever since, serving as your president, now immediate past president and resident geek.
I dream of seeing CCNI continue to build the processes and systems we need to better serve the Christian coach community. (You are my tribe!) I would love to see us become the go-to place for all Christian coaches and Christians that use a faith-based coach approach in both secular workplaces and ministry settings. I envision us breaking the 500-member mark soon. In the future, I long to see 3000 coaches actively gathering to sharpen one another’s skill set for coaching.
In the last few months of 2018, I will be working behind the scenes as resident geek and improving and building a better web site experience for members and guests. Our Bootcamp 2018 is a great place for you to volunteer and get to know some of the speakers and help us get the word out that we are making world-class continued education and CEU’s available at the best rate anywhere!
