“…For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
(Eph 2:10 NKJV)
Many, many years ago, as a brand new Cub Scout, I played a part in a short skit to be presented to parents and friends in our monthly gathering. I still remember that event and the single line I spoke. This line is used often and has been attributed to Aesop as the original source.
“United we stand, divided we fall.” My leader had equipped me with a handful of colorful wooden pick-up sticks (anyone remember that game?).
Our skit was about being united to accomplish greater things. The pick-up sticks were bound together with a rubber band and formed a nice handful of sticks that could stand on its own. But when I removed the rubber band they became individual sticks lacking support and fell.
As believers and Christian coaches, we need one another if we are going to make a difference in the lives of the clients we coach. When we stand together as members of Christian Coaches Network International, we become empowered to accomplish more than we are able to do trying to stand alone.
Be reminded that you are HIS workmanship! You have abilities, talents, gifts and experiences given to empower you to accomplish good works and great things for HIM!
The Maximize 2016 eSummit was the result of many volunteers, speakers, and coaches working together to strengthen our tribe and community. Thank you to everyone involved to make it a success. Remember to stay connected to our Lord and each other to accomplish those “good works” and all that our Creator designed us to live out, walk in and become.
In Bible College, the Director often reminded us, “When the natural and the supernatural come together, it results in an explosive force for God.” Join us as we connect with one another and seek to fulfill the calling and purpose we’ve been given individually and as a like-minded community of believing coaches!
Together we will make an amazing difference!
