The Judy Santos Award was initially set up by close friends and colleagues of Judy Santos at the time of her passing. CCNI continues to support this honor by recognizing one Christian Coach, nominated by a CCNI member, who has made a substantial impact in the Christian Coaching Community. The honoree will be recognized on the closing night of the Maximize 2016 eSummit, and CCNI will issue a press release and award a complimentary CCNI membership for one year to commemorate this honor and distinction.

Who is eligible for nomination? All coaches who meet the award criteria
Who is not eligible for nomination? Any coach or other person who is currently acting or has acted in a leadership capacity at CCNI during the past 12 months, including active Awards Committee members, Advisory Board Members, and the current executive director of CCNI.
Who is eligible to nominate someone for the award? Any CCNI member, except Award Committee members. To become a member, join here.
How many nominations can a CCNI member make? Unlimited. You may submit as many individual nomination forms as you wish.

Nominee must be a pioneer in the field of Christian coaching as evidenced by pioneering efforts, training, mentoring, writing, speaking, research, advocacy, innovation, etc. Examples are, but not limited to:
- Founder of an Institution or Organization
- Created a New Coaching Program, Tools, Books, Coaching Resources
Nominee must have shown a humble servant leadership approach in such pioneering efforts. Such examples include:
- Community Efforts
- Visionary or Innovator that Strengthened the Marginalized
- Launched or Maintained Community Initiatives
Press releases, news articles, published articles, videos, radio interviews, etc., can provide evidence of the nominee’s accomplishments.
Who is the review committee? All nominations are held in review by the Awards Committee, the Advisory Board Committee, and the executive director of CCNI. Nominations and related information is kept in complete confidence.
What is the review process? The process begins with the Award Committee's review of the initial nomination. They will:
- fact check nominations submitted.
- gather additional information from those nominees considered most worthy of the award (through telephone or face-to-face interviews, email or written correspondence, or contacting other persons/organizations to verify statements).
- narrow down to the top five finalists by simple majority vote of the committee.
- recommend finalists to the Advisory Board for approval.

When will a winner be announced? A winner will be announced during CCNI’s Maximize 2016 eSummit in September 2016. Winners will be notified prior to the start of the eSummit.
